We are a data business intelligence and data science consultancy focused on business and achieving results. We use the main tools and technologies of the market in the development of projects that help our clients extract the maximum value from their data and transform themselves digitally. Thus, we believe that the management of processes and people is optimized, which facilitates and improves everyone’s life.

BIX Tecnologia was founded in Florianópolis in 2014 by engineer Felipe Santos Eberhardt, who realized the market’s need to start using data to create more efficient strategies and assertive decision making. Without investors or accelerators, he started to win customers, increase the team and develop several business intelligence projects.

Since then, BIX Tecnologia’s growth has been solid, thanks to a team with an analytical profile and training in the main technology areas, winning customers all over Brazil, developing projects in the most diverse sectors of organizations and with a complete and vast portfolio that encompasses the various verticals of the economy.

CULTURE

All the achievements of BIX Tecnologia are only possible due to its team of analytical profile employees, passionate about achieving results and with a desire for growth. As a result, it has a whole internal culture that aims at the personal and professional development of those who choose to work here.

In order to achieve this, some principles are fundamental and already passed on to employees in the first week of work. Among them, there is the “Completed Staff Work”, which highlights the commitment of each employee to develop tasks with independence and autonomy. Another, “How Will You Measure Your Life”, based on a book of the same name, points out that professional success cannot be a person’s only goal and that the company must help them achieve their dreams. Happiness is only achieved with quality of life and with family and friends.

The collaborative environment is also a determining factor for the success of each professional and the company. Among the moments of integration there are weekly meetings of the entire team called “Bix HOUR”, in which members report the events of the week in their personal lives and a collaborator presents some content that can enrich the development of colleagues – which it is essential for another pillar of internal culture, knowledge management.

The consultants have a career plan with steps for growth that range from technical certifications with worldwide recognition in the market’s leading tools to the opportunity to join the company’s membership.

In addition, we also have a code of integrity that encourages good relations and practices between the team itself and also in contact with customers, companies and institutions. It provides, for example, a strong fight against corruption and also transparent and inclusive selection processes.

Responsive Vertical Timeline

Our story begins in May 2014, when the control and automation engineer Felipe Santos Eberhardt realized that there was enormous growth potential for the data analysis market in Santa Catarina. It was possible to take a step forward in the economy, as companies still had a conservative view of the power of information and business intelligence.

2014

The key word for 2015 is consolidation. Eduardo Santos Eberhardt, Felipe's brother, became a partner in the company and reinforced the projects that were being developed. These, in turn, gained more and more importance within customers, increasing the relevance of the brand and bringing notoriety and relevance in the market. At the end of the year, the company left Felipe's house and gained its own commercial room. The office was located in a strategic area: Close to the Federal University of Santa Catarina and also downtown Florianópolis, a city known as Silicon Island.

2015

Igor Gois, a colleague from Felipe's college and a data analyst with experience in large organizations, joined the company's membership. With his arrival, the team's internal culture began to be developed, bringing, for example, the importance of weekly meetings and integration of the entire group. The data and business intelligence projects developed by the team were spreading across various sectors and reaching important levels of management. These actions were extremely important to make the company's revenue triple this year.

2016

A year of great changes for the company. The first is that it officially became BIX Tecnologia. Another was a new headquarters, twice the size of the original. A new service was added to the BIX portfolio: Training. Whether in person, in company or distance education (through Campus BIX), it is through courses that we are able to take our knowledge to a wider audience and democratize data analysis.

2017

The Moonshot year! Surpassing even the initial goals, the team increased, developed projects with several different profiles and BIX Tecnologia grew 138%. We conquer customers and make important cases in industry and retail. We develop international projects. We also participated and won our first bid - thus being our first customer in the public sector.

2018

BIX began to relate more intensively to the Technology ecosystem. We joined Catarinense Technology Association, we took part in summit's, gave lectures to institutions and universities and also organized free events and training. We created our first derivative solution, OPME Digital, a tool that aims to bring digital transformation to healthcare procurement and bidding. We celebrated our 5th anniversary and moved to another new headquarters - three times the size of the previous one. In both celebrations, it was possible to bring together colleagues, family, friends and partners. Everyone is always very important in our journey.

2019

A nossa história começa em maio de 2014, quando o engenheiro de controle e automação Felipe Santos Eberhardt percebeu que havia um enorme potencial de crescimento para o mercado de análise de dados em Santa Catarina. Era possível dar um passo adiante na economia, já que as empresas ainda tinham uma visão conservadora em relação ao poder das informações e da inteligência de negócios.

2014

A palavra-chave para o ano de 2015 é consolidação. Eduardo Santos Eberhardt, irmão de Felipe, tornou-se sócio da empresa e reforçou os projetos que estavam sendo desenvolvidos. Estes, por sua vez, ganhavam cada vez mais importância dentro dos clientes, aumentando a relevância da marca e trazendo notoriedade e relevância no mercado. No final do ano, a empresa saiu da casa de Felipe e ganhou uma sala comercial própria. O escritório era localizado numa área estratégica: Próximo da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina e também do centro de Florianópolis, cidade conhecida como Ilha do Silício.

2015

Igor Gois, colega da faculdade de Felipe e analista de dados com experiência em grandes organizações, veio integrar o quadro de sócios da empresa. Com a chegada dele, começou a ser desenvolvida a cultura interna da equipe , trazendo, por exemplo, a importância de reuniões semanais e integração de todo o grupo. Os projetos de dados e business intelligence desenvolvidos pela equipe estavam se pulverizando por vários setores e chegando a importantes níveis de gestão. Essas ações foram importantíssimas para fazer com que, neste ano, o faturamento da empresa triplicasse.

2016

Um ano de grandes mudanças para empresa. A primeira é que passou a se chamar oficialmente de BIX Tecnologia. Outra foi uma nova sede, com o dobro de tamanho da original. Um novo serviço foi adicionado ao portfólio da BIX: Treinamentos. Seja presencialmente, in company ou EaD (por meio do Campus BIX), é por meio dos cursos que conseguimos levar os nossos conhecimentos para um público maior e democratizar a análise de dados.

2017

O ano Moonshot! Superando até as metas iniciais, a equipe aumentou, desenvolveu projetos de diversos perfis diferentes e a BIX Tecnologia teve um crescimento de 138%. Conquistamos clientes e realizamos cases importantes na indústria e no varejo. Desenvolvemos projetos internacionais. Também participamos e vencemos a nossa primeira licitação - sendo, assim, o nosso primeiro cliente no setor público.

2018

A BIX começou a se relacionar mais intensamente com o ecossistema de Tecnologia. Nos filiamos a Acate (Associação Catarinense de Tecnologia), participamos de encontros, demos palestras para instituições e universidades e também organizamos eventos gratuitos e treinamentos. Criamos a nossa primeira solução derivada, a OPME Digital, ferramenta que visa levar a transformação digital para as compras e licitações na área da Saúde. Comemoramos aniversário de 5 anos e nos mudamos para mais uma nova sede - três vezes maior que a anterior. Em ambas as celebrações, foi possível reunir colegas, familiares, amigos e parceiros. Todos sempre muito importantes em nossa jornada.
